Intravenous (IV) Vitamin Therapies

A Unique Approach to Prevention

Over the course of this year I have incorporated IV vitamin therapies into the health plans of many of my patients. In combination with other therapies we have seen the benefit of these as an approach to stress, poor detoxification, brain-fog, fatigue and also compromised immune function.

When a person receives an IV vitamin therapy, they’re receiving a liquid mixture of vitamins and minerals through a small tube inserted into a vein. A vitamin that’s taken by mouth gets broken down in the stomach and digestive tract, and, after going through the liver, the amount absorbed is limited. If, however, the vitamin is given through an IV, the absorption rate is much higher, leading to greater uptake into cells.

There are so-called “drip bars” being set-up around the world. Often, these are places where you can pop in, select a treatment off a menu, and get started without much consultation or the presence of a doctor.

My own approach includes a comprehensive pre-questionnaire via email before you arrive. That gives me some background into your health journey so far. Once IV therapy has started, you have my full-attention for the approximately one-hour that is required. During that time, you can choose to be quiet or we can talk about your health journey and aspirations and decide together on the best course forward.

Below are some standard options and we can also discuss a variety of customised approaches.

Immune Boost, Energy lift and stress resiliance| R1280

Main ingredient: Vitamin C

I am a big fan of high dose vitamin C as an approach to a variety of health challenges. It is still the original natural approach to supporting the immune system.

This includes a great combination of antioxiadant and immune boosting highe rdose Vitamin C together with Vitamin B complex and B12.

Our adrenal glands use up a lot of Vitamin C and B vitamins during times of stress, and so a great way to support that body during times of physical and mental stress.

Detox | R1510

Main ingredient: Glutathione

Support your body’s detox processes and boost your antioxidant status. This is a mixture of glutathione and vitamin C, as well as Magnesium, B complex and B12, all required for methylation and detoxification processes.

This is a great way to boost your detoxification pathways, as well as boosting your immune system. I love using this in those about to embark on long air travel.
